We want to help you fill your home with brilliant designs and decor products that spark joy and promote a happy sustainable lifestyle.
Sustainable living is easier and more accessible than many realize. Everyone can introduce more eco-friendly products and practices into their home one step at a time. Our mission promotes eco-friendly, ethically-sourced products and incremental positive lifestyle changes.
"We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly." — Anne-Marie Bonneau, Zero Waste Chef
With respect to our earth, we believe in using all-natural, cruelty-free, renewable materials in our homes and want to make these materials more accessible to everyone.
All of our products have been carefully vetted to ensure they meet our material standards.
Design integrity is a critical component of our sourcing strategy. As artists ourselves, we highly value the contributions of our artisan partners and ensure they are always fairly compensated for their talents.
We're tired of seeing our artists ripped off by large corporations and under-compensated. We never source cheap knockoffs from overseas.
We sell beautiful homewares that were created with heart and built to last.
One of our primary goals is to educate our audience about the dangers of the fast fashion industry. Many fast fashion practices are creeping into the home decor industry. The new norm encourages consumers to treat their everyday living accessories like disposable items.
Manufacturers produce millions of new products each day with cheap, destructive materials and then they encourage you to throw those away whenever the latest replacement launches.
Sure, businesses and customers benefit from cheap (errr, affordable) products, but there's always a sacrifice. And in this case, fast fashion and home decor are costing our planet by inundating our landfills, poisoning our crops, tainting the food supply chain, and increasing consumption to asinine proportions.
"The global marketplace is someplace where we export work to have happen in whatever conditions we want, and then the products come back to me cheap enough to throw away without thinking about it." — Stephen Colbert
We don't want to be caught up in that mess, so you can assure each product here was designed with the environment in mind and created to last.
We hope you'll visit our store often to add to your collection, but if you only ever make a single purchase and it lasts you for years, we'll be stoked! Maybe we're bad at business, but that's what this is about for us.
Give Where You Live
We are committed to giving back to local and domestic charities that support our values. We're currently in the process of developing a charitable arm of our business that will allocate a portion of profits to green home initiatives.
This program is still in development at this time.
